South Warwickshire guided tours
A popular tour is of South Warwickshire, based on a trip once operated by Midland Red, as far back as the 1920's. It lasts a day and includes visits to Royal Leamington Spa, views of Warwick Castle and town, views of Kenilworth Castle, plus a visit to Stratford up on Avon for lunch and a coach tour showing all five houses associated with William Shakespeare. The route also takes in the best of the local countryside and passes through several attractive places of interest with many stories to tell, including links to Jane Austen and other famous writers. It can also include the medieval city of Coventry as an option depending on time available. Walking tous are also available of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick including the castle and Lord Lycesters Hospital, plus Stratford upon Avon.
